Hi wailer,

Where did you see/read that the 9500ci now has K-band segmentation? I just want to check it out for myself, as I have the same BSM/K-band alerting problem that you and others also have.

I am running Anti Laser Priority 5-head system for laser protection, so I am only concerned with radar at the moment. Since installing the STiR+ I have been suffering like everyone else with the K band falsing. I read what Bel said to do, and implemented TSR off and Autoscan. This had little if any effect on the problem. I am now sorry I didn't bite the bullet and buy a Stinger radar detector. My present "solution" has been to turn off K band, but it leaves me vulnerable. Bel got my hard earned dollars, but it won't happen again, when all we hear from them are crickets. I am now looking to sell the STiR+ and buy a Stinger. I suspect this response won't remain on the boards long.
Stinger doesn't seem to be a 100% solution. Seen lots of reports/videos of poor performance against V1 and STIR. The Net Radar from ALP seems to be promising mid-price range unit, but it lacks GPS lockout which is critical to me.

NOTHING is 100%. lol. The STi-R+ does great against Ka.

I didn't know ALP now had their own radar unit. Had I known that I wouldn't have bought the STi-R+. Too many K band falses from BSM's and radar cruise control. I had to turn K band off as it was useless. Fortunately, there's not much K band use where I live, but I'd be vulnerable if I wonder outside this area much.

I wonder how the ALP Net Radar performs in regards to BSM K Band false signal rejection. I might consider selling off the STi-R+ and switch to an integrated ALP solution if it's good on K. I presently have a 5 head ALP unit with the phone and hi-fi integration on my Porsche. I don't presently run the phone app much. I just rely on the audio warnings. Everything is integrated into the car as stealthily as possible. Any feedback on Net Radar's falsing on K?

By the way, according to ALP's website they do offer a GPS lockout solution for Net Radar now.
