Default Filtering FMCW

So I'm curious about the possibilities of filtering out FMCW. It's the type of radar that's commonly used for blind spot monitoring and collision avoidance. It's used because, unlike normal radar, the frequency modulation also provides distance information which is key in both applications.

How easy is it for a radar detector to detect when FMCW is in use and then specifically filter it out? That's my main question.

Vehicles with radar based collision avoidance systems many times have both CW and FMCW components. Filtering is always possible but also always involves processing the incoming signal which results in an alert response delay. Our detector's TSR band setting and Auto sensitivity modes help reduce these false alerts.
