Question email says updates, but software doesnt see it

I received an email today saying that the database had been updated.
So I plugged in my Gx65, ran the tool, clicked Merge your data and it says "Database is current".

Did I do something wrong?

Have you ever updated Defender before with Detector Tools? If not then go ahead and force Defender to update and merge. There was an issue with the factory loaded Defender date on some detectors.

If you have recently updated Defender with Detector Tools then please let me know, there may be another issue.

I did an update last week when I got the device. I'll try a force now though and see what happens. Is there any way to see the "versions" that are installed on the device vs that which is available to be installed?

OK, I forced an update, and it says it is current as of 9/5/11.

There was a problem with the Defender server on Monday. Please try to update Defender again for the latest version.

Yep, no prompt about it already being up-to-date.... and says it successfully installed 9/12 version. Thanks!
