A groundbreaking study has revealed that mRNA COVID-19 vaccines administered during pregnancy do not increase the risk of autism in children. The team also reviewed results from the Child Behavior Checklist, Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers, and the Early Childhood Behavior Questionnaire to further evaluate behavioral and developmental patterns.
The findings were reassuring. Children born to mothers who received the COVID-19 vaccine during pregnancy did not show any significant differences in neurodevelopmental outcomes compared to those born to unvaccinated mothers. This study, conducted through a rigorous scientific process in an NIH clinical trials network, provides valuable insights into the long-term health of children whose mothers received the COVID-19 vaccination during pregnancy.
